"This saw seasoned Lark whisky barrels re-filled with an imperial blonde sour and left to age - the idea to for this beer came while enjoying a smokey whisky sour at one of Melbourne's more fancy cocktail bars. We thought that this cocktail would make a fantastic sour beer! Drawing on every element of the classic cocktail, we brewed a strong blonde sour with touch of smoke malt to give us a subtle smokiness, and a touch of lactose to give balance to our dry fermenting yeast.
