Blackberry Honey comes from the countryside adjacent to the rivers and farmlands of Northern Tasmania. Blackberry honey is sourced from the bees that are placed next to the rivers and county side where they access the blackberry fruit. The honey created can be described as golden in colour, fruity and delicious.

Who Are We?
Stung Honey was born from a hobby of two hives that quickly turned into a passion and way of life. The now seventy-five hive boutique family run apiary is located in the beautiful Tasmanian countryside. Stung Honey?s mission is to produce and provide an untreated, pure local raw honey. Stung Honey is unheated and cold extracted leaving all the natural health benefits of the honey right where it should be in the honey including - enzymes, minerals, vitamins and the anti-bacterial properties.
What is Raw Honey?
Raw honey is the original sweet liquid that the bees produce from the concentrated nectar of flowers in the local region. Collected straight from the hives the honey is cold extracted and is totally unheated, unpasteurised and unprocessed.
Most of the honey you would be familiar with from supermarkets is not raw honey but "commercially " created honey. A lot of this honey will have been pasteurized (heated to 70 C or more, followed by express cooling). This allows for easy filtering and bottling so that it looks cleaner, smoother and more appealing to customers on the shelf. This type of honey is also typically dark in appearance and runny, both caused from excessive heating making easier to handle and package to the masses.
Please Remember...
Unlike regular commercially produced honey the colour, consistency and flavour of raw honey may vary, depending on the actual flowers and blossoms from which the bees have harvested their nectar and may sometimes be cloudy in colour. All raw honey will crystallise over time and quicker than ?regular? supermarket honey. Crystallised honey does not lose any of its great health benefits or flavour and can be made pliable/liquid again through sitting the honey in a warm water bath of around 40 C (no hotter) before using. Do not microwave honey and it is best stored at room temperature when possible.

We use Australia Post to deliver your goods. Once posted a tracking number will be emailed to you so you can follow/track the progress of your delivery through - auspost.com.au/track. Items will be posted within 2 business days of cleared payment being received. We are happy to combine postage of items whenever possible at no extra cost if within weight specifications of satchel or box.
