"Coffey stills have been renowned for ages for their ability to distil complex and mellow whiskies while retaining the natural sweetness that is found in the grains used to produce the mash, they are feed. Unfortunately, they are also grossly inefficient compared to the modern distillation techniques used by most companies today. Nikka thankfully isn't concerned with that. Instead, they are dedicated to producing the finest whisky available.
