About UsWelcome to the ’fo
Just a heads-up - this is a long ‘about’ page, but it’s worth it. We like to give context, and it’s important to understand how all this came to be and why we do what we do. So, grab a big glass of something delicious and settle in...
We created the ’fo in a little garage in Adelaide back in 2011, and in just over 7 years we’ve grown to a tribe of over 500,000 wine-loving mofos around the world. And it’s quite fun.We love wine, and we wanted to build a place we thought we’d love to buy wine from, and hang out with other people who love wine. This has become our mission.
Our mission Unite a tribe with our love of wine, food and adventure. Be proud of what we do, and our impact on the world. And have fun. Before we go on and talk about what we do, it’s important to understand why we do it. Let’s break that mission down shall we...
Unite a tribe with our love of wine, food and adventure.Good wine is more than just flavour and texture. It’s friends and family and laughter and memories. Wine is history and culture, it’s science and poetry, and something else almost entirely magical.
Good wine is stories... in the making of the wine, and in the sharing. Your stories. The stories we make together.
But it’s also just a drink – a delicious drink, that can bring food alive and make you smile and feel something. Good wine should never be intimidating, or the domain of a few self-proclaimed ‘connoisseurs’ – that’s all just bowties and bullshit, and those days are gone.
We want to unite a tribe of people who love not only wine, but food and the adventure of experiencing it all. This life we have the privilege to live is worth celebrating and that’s what we want to do. That, we think, is a worthy purpose.
We want to be proud of what we do and our impact on the world. This means not only being proud of what we achieve, but how we go about it.
Because good wine is an experience. Like good food, good music, good company, it adds colour and flavour to life, a layer of richness that just makes it all.
We’re building a global organisation that will be remembered for its positive impact on the planet and its people.
And we want to help the makers sustain and grow their businesses, so they can keep making good wine.
With supermarkets focusing more and more on homogenised, own-brand wines, we’re facing the future decline of good wines with provenance, character and stories. Real wine. Which means a lot of people won’t be able to experience good wine, and a lot of great producers will go out of business.
This is not what the drinkers want, and it’s not what the makers want, and we don’t intend to let that happen.
And have fun.It is wine, after all, and if we’re not having fun, we’re not doing it right.
Right then, now that we’ve established why we do what we do, let’s look at what it is we do and how we do it…

The tl;dr version of this page is: we guarantee your happiness, so if you’re at all unhappy with your wine, give us a call, email or chat and we’ll do our best to sort it out.
The Mofo 100% Happiness GuaranteeAt the ’fo, we want you to enjoy your wines. And of course we want you to keep coming back for more, and to tell all your friends about us.We only sell the wines we love and drink ourselves, so WE think the wines are awesome, but everyone has their own tastes. So if you’re not happy with a wine you order from the ’fo, and it’s been less than a year since delivery, let us know. If you’ve opened two bottles or less in a case of twelve, or one in a case of six, we can organise pickup and give you a full credit or refund — you choose. If you’ve opened more, or we’re talking about a mixed case, just contact us and we’ll figure something out.In any case, if you get a bottle you’re not thrilled with, please contact us. We really do want you to be 100% happy. In fact, we guarantee it.
I want to return my wine, what do I do?Once you get in touch, we have three convenient ways for you to return your wine.
A driver can collect it from your door*You can drop it off at your local Post Office or Parcel LockerYou can take it directly to our warehouse in Port MelbourneWhichever you choose, it’s completely free! Just contact us, and we’ll organise it for you.
So if you’re not happy with a wine you order from the ’fo, and it’s been less than a year since delivery, let us know. If you’ve opened two bottles or less in a case of twelve, or one in a case of six, we can organise pickup and give you a full credit or refund — you choose. If you’ve opened more, or we’re talking about a mixed case, just contact us and we’ll figure something out.
If you don’t have the original box, don’t worry, any box that fits the wine will do. To help out our lovely drivers, we do ask that you ensure the box is in good condition, with only unopened bottles inside, securely taped up, and free from any dangerous materials, such as broken glass.
In any case, if you get a bottle you’re not thrilled with, please contact us. We really do want you to be 100% happy. In fact, we guarantee it.
*In most cases a driver can collect it from you, there are some regional/rural areas we won’t be able to send a driver to so you’ll have to drop it at your nearest post office.
When will my refund be processed?Once the wine has been collected, just let us know and we can issue your credit or refund straight away. It can take a little while for your wine to travel all the way back to our warehouse, and we don’t want you to have to wait that long. So always best to let us know as soon as the driver collects it.
Please keep in mind that if you benefited from a discount or reward that was only applied due to the purchase of the wine you’re returning (for example, free delivery on three or more cases), this discount or reward will be forfeited in the refund. Fair’s fair, after all.
The same rules apply to mixed cases and club wines. You’re very welcome to return a case if you’ve opened two bottles or less in a twelve pack, or one in a six pack. Unsure? Drop us a line.
How do I change or cancel an order? If you’ve ordered using the ‘One-Click Checkout’ but change your mind straight away, there is an option to cancel and refund immediately.
If you don’t get to it immediately, just contact us and we’ll take care of it for you. Given we want to catch this as soon as we can, it’s best to call or live chat us so that we can get onto it quickly.

ShippingSHIPPING Shipping, delivery, freight... to us it’s all just getting you good wine, as quick as we can, and in the best possible condition. We’ve covered off a bunch of frequently asked questions below, as well as provided extra info about click & collect, Vinomofo unlimited and how shipping to NT has changed since minimum floor pricing was introduced up there. What do you charge for shipping?
We charge a flat $9 per order, but shipping is FREE when you order 3 or more cases in the one order*.
*Excludes NT orders
How long will my delivery take?We deliver with Australia Post. Check out our standard delivery times. A more accurate timeframe is provided on checkout, based on your delivery postcode. If you download the Australia Post app, you’ll get SMS and push notifications to keep you updated along the way!
Where do you deliver? We can deliver to most residential or business addresses, Parcel Lockers, Post Offices or PO Boxes. There are some areas where we can’t deliver directly to your door, and will instead deliver to your local post office. If you’re in one of these areas, don’t worry, we’re working on it and hope to be able to deliver to your door very soon!
Can my wine be left if I’m not home?It sure can! Just make sure you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to do so. That way if you live in an area where Australia Post offer parcel delivery services, your driver should always try to find a safe place to leave your wine. Please keep in mind our drivers need to stay within sight of their van, so may not be able to follow all delivery instructions. For more information check out the Auspost website.
If there aren’t any delivery instructions or if you live in an area that doesn’t offer parcel delivery, your wine will be delivered to your local post office, who’ll send you a card to let you know.
What happens if there’s no safe place to leave the wine? You can always choose one of our convenient alternative delivery options if you’d rather not have your wine delivered to your home address, or if you know there’s no safe place to leave it when you’re not at home.
If you’re not home and Aus Post can’t find a safe place to leave your wine, they’ll leave a card and take your order to your local post office instead. You’ll have 10 business days to collect it, after which it will be returned to our warehouse.
Note that once your order has been taken to the post office, unfortunately we won’t be able to arrange to have it redelivered.
Why can’t I get a call before delivery? Our drivers are on the road for most of the day, and although they may try, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to call you to arrange your delivery. Therefore, it’s best to give instructions for the driver to follow if they arrive at the delivery address and no one’s there to receive your order, or choose an alternative delivery option in advance.
Can I redirect my order? If you have the Australia Post app or a MyPost account, you can redirect your order to another address, including post offices and Parcel Lockers up until the day before your order is out for delivery. Using your app or MyPost account is the best way to ensure the redirection goes smoothly.
If you aren’t able to do this, please get in touch directly with Australia Post on 13 76 78 and they will be able to help you.
Please bear in mind that if you redirect your order, it will take a bit longer for it to get to you. It’ll take an extra day for our couriers to intercept it, plus it may take additional days to deliver your parcel to the new address depending on where it is.
Do you offer express shipping? Not yet, but soon! Stay tuned.
Vinomofo UnlimitedFor only $35 a year, you can ship as much wine as you like, wherever you like*. There’s no minimum order value either. Never miss out on that super-awesome wine deal because pesky delivery fees held you back. Experience Vinomofo unlimited.
*Note: excludes NT, and some terms apply, obviously.
Click and collectYou can now choose to collect your wine directly from our Port Melbourne warehouse – aka the Vinomofo Urban Cellar Door! Just choose ‘Click & Collect’ in the checkout and we’ll email you as soon as your vino is ready. On pickup you’ll experience our Urban Cellar Door, which includes expert advice from our wine team, Pick and Mix, single bottles and more! Read more about Click & Collect and our Urban Cellar Door experience.
Shipping to NTWe firmly believe that all Australians should have access to good wine at epic prices, and our NT customers are no exception to this. However, all wine sold to NT needs to meet the legislated “minimum floor price”. Find out more about shipping to NT.

Terms of UseTerms of use Note from the founders:
We’re not so big on rules here. It’s just a wine site after all, and it’s supposed to be one of the more enjoyable parts of your day.But we are a community, and a good one at that, so we do have a few conditions of being a Vinomofo member, and for using the Vinomofo website. Basically, it all comes down to keeping it real. Doing the right thing by us, our producers and by each other. One of the most awesome things about Vinomofo are Black Market deals — these are deals so epic, wines so awesome, that the only way we can get them is by agreeing to keep the identity of the wine and the producer secret. We ask you to keep that secret with us. Please don’t post it anywhere, even if you’re super-excited about it.This way, we’ll all get to keep enjoying them. If we blow it, we won’t be able to get these deals anymore. So let’s work together, and respect our agreement with the producers of these awesome wines. We’re also generous with ‘invite a friend’ credits — we’ve grown through our members telling their friends about us. We love that, and welcome it! But we don’t want anyone to ‘game’ that. Again — it only ends up costing the community. One account per user, please — let’s do the right thing. Here goes. We warn you that our lawyer drafted these, so it’s not the most entertaining read, but important nonetheless…Cheers,Justin + Andre, Co-Founders
