Overview:
Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Rose Champagne is crafted with Pinot Noir from old vines, planted in the Montagne de Reims, that produce fruit with powerful flavour intensity.
The Ace of Spades brut gold cuvée is an even three-way blend of the traditional Champagne grape varieties chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier.
The grapes are pressed in a traditional Coquard basket press and only the first pressing of the cuvée is used to make the wine.
Armand de Brignac Rosé is packaged in a unique bottle created by André Courrèges fashion house.
The front label of the Armand de Brignac logo is made from pewter.
Each bottle is displayed in a stunning black wooden gift box.
Known popularly as the “Ace of Spades”, Armand de Brignac was founded in 1763 by the Cattier family in a tiny Champagne village in the Montagne de Reims.
The assemblage comprises 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay and is a trio of vintages; 2009, 2010 & 2012.
A rich bouquet of red fruits with delicate, smoky grilled notes behind. It is fresh and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of strawberries and blackcurrant, and is lingering and complex in its finish.
Strawberry, currant and cherry abound on the nose, with floral hints and a touch of sweet almond. Chardonnay brings lightness and elegance.
