Appleton Estate Joy 25 Year Old Rum (700ml) 45% ABVJoy Spence's 20th anniversary as master blender is celebrated in this extraordinary limited edition bottling of pot still and column still rums. Aged between 25 and 35 years, and simply called “Joy”, it comes beautifully presented in a decanter style bottle and presentation case.Says Spence: “It includes two rum marques which are of particular sentimental significance to me: The first of these marques was laid down to age in 1981, which is the year I joined the Appleton Estate team, and the second is my favourite marque of pot still rum. The final blend is a wonderful rum that I hope will be become a cornerstone of my legacy”.Joy Spence, joined Appleton Estate in 1981 as chief chemist, having graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and the University of Loughborough with a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry. She became master blender in 1997, with 2017 marking 20 years with the estate.Expect rich aromas and flavours of orange peel, ginger and spice and a warming vanilla, butterscotch and coffee finish followed by layers of almond and toasted oak. Approx 13,000 bottles released globally.

* Please note - Pickup is not available.

* Items will be despatched within 2 business days of receiving cleared funds. 

* We generally use Australia Post for delivery, but you can choose a courier if you prefer. If it is unlikely that you will be home for the delivery, please provide a work address during the PayPal checkout.

* Some addresseses (such as rural and outlying areas, PO boxes and Parcel lockers) need to be sent by Australia Post delivery and therefore cannot be sent by Courier. Please contact us for a shipping quote before purchasing if you are unsure. 

* Due to the nature of our products and the online sale of alcohol, a signature from the receiver with proof of age over 18 years old is required on delivery.

In the event that your purchase is non-deliverable and returned to sender/us, we will refund you the cost minus our shipping costs, eBay and PayPal fees and a restocking fee of 10% of the sales price.
